Ever since I started working, I have never been in a company (or organisation) that have Obon holiday. Do other workers have the Oban holiday as an official holiday? I think Mountain's day is not known as widely as Sea's day. Is it because the day is very close to Obon holiday, or because it has been a national holiday for only a decade or so? Maybe it is only because I hardly go to mountains. 山の日は海の日と比べて影が薄い気がします。 お盆近くで、祝日じゃなくても休みの人が多いからか、祝日になってまだ日が浅いからか。 私がほとんど山に行かないからかもしれませんね。
